What are your recent (not classic) favorites?

The whole Cheapass Games line. Particularly Give Me The Brain and Lord of the Fries. Runners-up include Deadwood and Before I Kill You, Mr. Bond (recently renamed to something like "The Very Clever Spy Game" to pacify enemy lawyers).

At 7 bucks a game, how can you go wrong?

At the moment, Sweetie and I are hooked on Upwords, which is Scrabble in three dimensions. I will also echo Joe's recommendations on the Cheapass Games. We also like Parcheesi, but it's much better with four people.

Cranium, or its descendants. Watching my mother try to mime "hypertext" was one of the funniest moments of my young life.
